New generation GAZelle NEXT Van won “LCV/Pickup” nomination of the fourth annual National Award of Automotive Experts “TOP-5 AUTO”. The jury of the contest highly praised engineering solutions, functionality and comfort of the vehicle. GAZ Group launched production of the new model in October 2015.
New generation GAZelle NEXT Van won “LCV/Pickup” nomination of TOP-5 AUTO Award. The Award was established in 2012 by the National Academy of Automotive Business. The objective of the project is demonstration of the best new vehicles of the year in five key nominations. The expert jury of the Award includes 43 competent Russian automotive journalists. The count of votes and certification of jury ballots is performed by KPMG, which is one of the leading global audit and consulting companies.
To define the winner, the expert jury evaluated all models entering the market in 2015, and selected the most worthy ones based on five key criteria: value for money, design, engineering innovations, comfort and efficiency.

– When we developed the new vehicle, we had a very challenging task, i.e. to make the vehicle comfortable and functional as much as possible, and at the same time to keep the price at the low level, since the vehicle is mainly used for commercial transportation. The high opinion of TOP-5 AUTO Award expert jury proves that we really managed to develop a modern and well-balance vehicle, which the customers like. I am sure that in the nearest future GAZelle NEXT Van will become one of the most popular models on the commercial vehicle market.
