Mazda Motor Corporation has announced the following organizational and personnel changes, effective October 1, 2014.
1. Organizational Changes
(1) Changes in Quality Division
Goals
- To enhance the organization’s ability to continuously maintain and improve quality through a consistent approach to quality control issues from product planning through to aftersales.
Details
- Establish the Quality Management & Promotion Department within the Quality Division and transfer functions such as the management of the Quality Engineering Department and Field Quality Department to it.
(2) Changes in Hofu Plant
Goals
- To ensure smooth relations with external parties, clearly define the department which liaises with government bodies, other companies and members of the local community within the Hofu and Yamaguchi regions.
Details
- Establish the General Affairs Department (Hofu) and transfer the general affairs functions and labor affairs functions of Hofu Plant to it.
