Mazda Motor Corporation has announced the following organizational and personnel changes, effective March 1, 2018.
1. Organizational Changes
Changes in the area of integrated control systems development

- As electronic systems become increasingly complex, create an organizational framework for the collective development of technologies based on a consistent strategy and equip it with a management system aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of development.
- Details of the organizational changes

- Establish the Infotainment & Control Model Development Dept. and transfer the functions of developing communication and information systems from the Electrical & Electronics Development Dept. to it.
- Establish the Electronic Platform Development Dept. and transfer the functions of developing electronic component from the Electrical and Electronics Development Dept.to it.
- Establish the Electrical & Electronics Performance Development Dept. and transfer the functions of testing and researching electric and electronic components from the Electrical and Electronics Development Dept.to it.
- In line with above changes, abolish the Electrical & Electronics Development Dept.
