Guillaume Sicard, President India Operations, Nissan India, has been confirmed as a speaker at Automotive Megatrends India 2015. He will participate in a panel discussion on India’s passenger car industry over the next ten years.

Sicard is responsible for all of Nissan’s operations in India, including manufacturing at the plant in Chennai, which has a capacity of 400,000 units. He will also lead business development as Nissan expands its sales networks in India for the Nissan and Datsun brands and launches new products in pursuit of its ambition to be a major player in the country’s automotive sector. Sicard joined Nissan in July 2014 as Deputy President of Nissan India Operations.

Prior to joining Nissan, Sicard was Chief Operation Officer – Renault Turkey (MAIS). He joined Renault in 1992 and since then, had held various leadership positions in Sales and Marketing with increasing responsibilities in France, Spain and South Africa.

Sicard holds a Bachelor degree from EPSCI Business School.

Automotive Megatrends India is a two-day, multiple-stream conference focusing on commercial vehicles and passenger cars. The panel discussion on day two will cover the key megatrends which look set to shape the country’s car industry over the next ten years and beyond.
