The innovations on public display at Auto Shanghai will include:
- A compact AWD Disconnect driveline system for city and compact cars (2015 PACE Award Finalist)
- A two-speed eAxle system for premium plug-in hybrid AWD sports cars, already in production on the BMW i8 (2015 PACE Award Finalist)
- Torque distribution technologies, including electronic torque vectoring, electronic limited slip differentials and electronic torque management systems
- Highly integrated, high-performance electric drive systems for hybrid and electric passenger and light commercial vehicles
- Driveline components that reduce rotating mass and improve fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions
