GAZ Group, a part of Basic Element, Russia’s largest diversified industrial holding, begins selling GAZ vehicles, including GAZelle Next and GAZon Next, in Georgia.

Sales of GAZ vehicles, including the next generation models GAZelle Next and GAZon Next, launch in Georgia. At the sales launch event potential customers were shown the base versions of the new vehicles, including the cargo and passenger/cargo versions as well as 19-seat frame buses. Representatives of carriers, Tbilisi town-hall, Georgian ministries and agencies also got acquainted with different versions of specialty vehicles based on GAZ chassis: ambulances, fire engines and various superstructures intended for commercial customers.

GAZelle Next LCVs will be supplied to Georgia either with Cummins ISF 2.8 diesel engines or with EvoTech 2.7 gasoline engines, GAZon Next MDT’s will be supplied with YAMZ-534 diesel engines.

The vehicles whose sales also launched in Georgia also include GAZelle Business, Sobol Business (including AWD versions), GAZ-3309, Sadko GAZ-3308.

The personnel of Strada Auto company, a GAZ dealer in Georgia, have received special training and been certified to comply with GAZ standards regarding sales as well as servicing of all vehicle types.
