Gajanan V Gandhe, responsible for IAC activities in South Asia & South Africa region, has been confirmed as a speaker at Automotive Megatrends India 2015.
Gandhe’s responsibility at IAC includes India, the ASEAN region, South Africa and Saudi Arabia. He also looks after the M&A activities for all Asia including Japan. He has nearly 25 years of engineering and management experience in the automotive industry with 12 years in the US, nine in India and four in China. Gandhe has worked in numerous leadership positions with EASi Engineering, General Motors, Dow Automotive and Lear Corporation prior to joining IAC.
Gandhe will speak in the Car Market Outlook track for passenger cars, which will explore the prospects for India’s passenger car market, and how the experience of acquiring a car will change over the next ten years and beyond. Topics covered will include sales forecasts, online sales and marketing, socio-economic change, ownership models and dealership evolution.
