EB continues to bring leading innovations to its customers in the public safety market
Elektrobit (EB) will present its products at the APCO 2014 public safety exhibition on August 3-6 in New Orleans, LA, United States. At the exhibition, EB will demonstrate its reference Smart Phone, ruggedized tablet, LTE connectivity module and product concepts that are based on the award-winning EB Specialized Device Platform (SDP).
One of the products demonstrated is the H3 Smart Phone reference device, based on the award-winning EB Specialized Device Platform, as well as the DMO (Direct Mode) communication support developed for the smart phone. The H3 Smart Phone reference device is customizable to different customer needs and it is enhanced with special features such as the advanced radio frequency solution supporting up to ten 4G LTE radio frequency bands, and is also compatible with most worldwide 2G and 3G networks. The DMO communication support enables users to make voice calls without the support of a network infrastructure. This innovative solution means that communication will be possible in situations where the mobile phone network is not operational or available, such as during natural disasters or in isolated communications among the authorities. EB’s DMO solution is based on standard GSM protocols, ensuring excellent voice transmission quality, long range and a long battery life. It can be used for communication between two or more parties, similarly to various Push-to-Talk (PTT) applications.
EB will also present:
-
EB Tactical Wireless IP Network for tactical communications,
-
EB Tactical LTE Access Point solution for IP network,
-
EB Tough VoIP product family, which enables IP calls in demanding environmental conditions.
EB’s product portfolio can be viewed at exhibition stand #756.
