DuPont introduces new thermal-conductive interface material for HEV/EV battery assembly

BETASEAL™ TC thermal-conductive interface material is a game-changing solution for battery pack assembly. Part of the offering comprised of DuPont’s AHEAD™ (Accelerating Hybrid-Electric Autonomous Driving) initiative, BETASEAL™ TC is easy to apply, retains thermal-conductive properties between the battery cells and cooling plate, yet has low pullout force to facilitate ease of battery module removal for repair/reuse/recycling.

The material ensures retention of thermal conductivity due to good contact between the battery cells and the cooling plate with no material gaps.
