Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: CVGI), a leading supplier of fully integrated system solutions for the global commercial vehicle market, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a new contract to supply seating to the Caterpillar® Building Construction Products Division. The seating, designed specifically to meet the needs of vehicle operators, will be used in small wheel loaders, small-tracked tractors and mini-hydraulic excavators.
CVG plans to produce the seats at the Company’s National Seating facility in Vonore, Tennessee. Production is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2013. Initial production under the new agreement will support Caterpillar facilities in North and South America.
