Benoit Schlumberger, Director Global Market & Industry Analysis, at GM Europe, has been confirmed as a speaker at Automotive World Megatrends Europe 14, taking place on September 10-11, 2014.
Benoit took on his current role in January 2012 and is responsible for Economic analysis, industry and segment forecast, GME vehicle forecast and competitive intelligence. In parallel to his job, Benoit led the Program Management Office of DRIVE!2022 (Opel long term strategic plan) from March 2012 to October 2013.
Benoit Schlumberger, a French national, is a graduate from Dauphine University (Paris) and holds an MBA in International Business from Baruch College (City University of New York)
He joined General Motors 16-years ago and has held various positions in Product Planning and Product Development, Strategic Planning, New Business Development, Aftersales, Purchasing in Germany, Switzerland and USA. Before joining GM he worked as a consultant in France.
Organised by Automotive World, Megatrends Europe ’14 is a two-day, six-stream conference focusing on Commercial Vehicles and Passenger Cars.
Schlumberger will speak as a panellist on Day 2, in the Big Picture Panel Discussion, which will focus on Europe’s light vehicle industry over the next ten years.
He will also speak on Day 2 in Stream 3: Retail (R)evolution, looking at how the experience of buying a car will change in Europe over the next ten years and beyond.
