Starting from December LADA dealers restart accepting requests for car purchase under Scrapping program. This was announced by EVP for Sales and Marketing of JSC AVTOVAZ Denis Petrunin during ceremony of start of sales of LADA Priora with automated transmission.
Denis Petrunin highlighted that LADA Priora with АМТ was a good variant for megalopolis, where traffic situation was getting more and more complicated year after year. It’s for a reason that start of sales was held in Saint-Petersburg. Auto dealers of the northern capital stated to AVTOVAZ management that this car would be in demand – and today Petersburgers can do a test drive of LADA Priora with AMT and buy a new product.
November 29 in dealer center Piter-Lada during grand ceremony the clients received keys from 4 cars with AMT. Three car owners moved to new Prioras from their Russian or foreign cars. The fourth LADA Priora has a specific story: the Town Council with the support of business sector gave this car for transportation of a handicapped passenger. 19-years old Dmitry is afflicted with cerebral palsy; he attends a special college located 33 kilometers from home, and without a car it’s not possible. Several years ago Dmitry’s family received Oka under social program, but today it is necessary to change the car. Handing over a car, employees of Piter-Lada noted, that automated transmission simplified significantly the driving process; the car itself was comfortable and had a roomy trunk, where it was possible to fit a wheelchair when necessary.
