Volkswagen's efforts towards a highly integrated commercial vehicle powerhouse take another step closer to fruition with a new partnership between MAN and Scania. In May, VW acquired the final shares to control Scania, paving the way for closer collaboration amongst the Swedish OEM, MAN and its own commercial vehicle operations.
