The fuel cell vehicle (FCV) segment has been niche for many years, and although OEMs like Toyota and Honda have repeatedly suggested that the technology holds considerable promise, costs have remained high and infrastructure sparse. More stations are now being built, organisations are being formed to promote the vehicles, and new technology could make FCVs more promising than ever before. Things are looking up for FCVs.
