Rapid tech development puts job security under the spotlight

The evolution of connected, autonomous, shared and electric (CASE) technology is reshaping the way vehicles are designed and built. The implications for employees involved in any stage of the production process could be significant. Just ask one of Bosch's workers in Germany. The world's largest automotive supplier recently confirmed plans to shed 1,600 jobs in its home market by 2021 as it adjusts for an electric future beyond the internal combustion engine (ICE). Another 1,000 will go by 2022. And it's not just Bosch.
