Nissan’s tiny ICE for electric racer

Nissan has just revealed the new 1.5-litre three-cylinder internal combustion engine that runs alongside the ZEOD RC’s unique electric powerplant. The Nissan DIG-T R engine weighs 40kg and is only 500mm tall, 400mm long, and 200mm wide. It produces 400hpm, revs to 7,500rpm and produces 380Nm of torque.
