Three months into the new fiscal year and Nissan remains cautiously optimistic. For the quarter ending 30 June 2015, net revenue rose 17.6% year-on-year to ¥2.90tr (US$23.4bn), with a 58% jump in operating profit to ¥193.7bn and a 36.4% rise in net income to ¥152.8bn. Volumes were propelled by North America and Europe, rising 4.4% overall to 1,294,000 units.
