German group mutares is creating a serious new contender on the global truck supply market, bringing together the operations of STS Acoustics, the Mecaplast Group and now Plastic Omnium. If the plan goes through, the combined operations will boast 15 plants, 2,700 employees and an annual turnover of €400m (US$425.9m).
