Too many, too quickly – Honda revamp tackles rapid expansion repercussions

The message from Chief Executive Takahiro Hachigo is to keep expectations high, because that's where Honda's aim is. Hachigo was given the top role last year following Takanobu Ito's decision to step down in light of the massive safety crisis developing. The new Chief went public for the first time last July to present his vision of Honda’s future, highlighting the need for better coordination between different regions and improved communication, as well as improving the efficiency of Honda’s global production operations and delivering more ‘Honda-like’ products.
