Lyft wins Waymo Nashville deal, narrows robotaxi gap with Uber

Alphabet’s self-driving unit Waymo has announced a new partnership with Lyft to launch robotaxi services in Nashville in 2026. The development marks Lyft’s first large-scale collaboration in autonomous ride-hailing and positions it to narrow the gap with rival Uber, which has already secured multiple partnerships in the sector.
