Decarbonising transport will play a significant role in fighting climate change. However, green potential also lies beyond the vehicles themselves, and one of the most commonly referenced examples is the need for green infrastructure. Although electric vehicles (EV) emit no harmful gases, a full zero emissions lifecycle can only be achieved if the energy used to recharge the vehicle comes from renewable sources.
