Harman steps up security with shift from connected car to connected life

Freddie Holmes speaks to Harman’s Alon Atsmon about securing connected life and the opportunities of working with new players

Harman has been busy over the last couple of years, acquiring Symphony Teleca, Redbend and most recently Towersec, in an effort to expand its capabilities within the connected car market.

Speaking at a recent roundtable held in Washington, D.C., management from Harman joined government regulators, national safety bodies and other automotive industry representatives to discuss the changing landscape of cyber security. Automotive World caught up with Alon Atsmon, Vice President of Technology Strategy at Harman, to gain an insight into the latest trends within cyber security and the concept of a connected life.
