China's SUV market is booming, with sales in the segment up 36% year-on-year in 2014. Moving into 2015, growth has only gained pace, with SUV sales rising 53.6% in March, according to data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM). Locally produced models in particular are selling fast, with sales jumping nearly 50% in the first quarter.
