France’s colour-coding to separate the soiled from the spotless

A new colour-coding scheme in France could help local governments distinguish between cleaner vehicles and those emitting high levels of harmful pollutants

France has come up with a plan to differentiate between clean and dirty vehicles. In doing so, it hopes to allow municipalities to prevent the latter from travelling in areas that suffer from poor air quality.
