The electric vehicle (EV) market appears on the cusp of healthy period of growth. Rising discontent amongst consumers with the traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) powertrains, combined with technical progress in low emissions technology, is quickly making the EV a more appealing product for automakers to sell. As such, it comes as little surprise to see major automakers beginning to switch their focus from the ICE to the EV.
