On the back of year-on-year sales growth in 2014, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has announced its decision to expand the workforce at its Melfi plant by more than 1,000 people

Last year, new passenger car registrations in Italy rose year-on-year by 4.2% to 1,359,616 units. This compared with registrations of 1,304,648 cars recorded in 2013.
