Magna’s chief executive says it will step away from the battery cell business, with Samsung SDI set to acquire its battery division

Samsung SDI has announced it will acquire Magna Steyr Battery Systems (MSBS), the subsidiary of Austria-based Magna Steyr and parent company Magna International (Magna).
