Daimler is outsourcing development of embedded advanced drive assistance systems software, and Elektrobit has won the lucrative contract. The two companies have worked together for years but this latest approach represents a new model of collaboration in software development, putting Elektrobit in the driving seat. The arrangement runs through 2020.
