COMMENT: From factory-fit to aftermarket, the lines are blurring

A recent report from Detroit-based Ricardo Strategic Consulting (RSC) questions vehicle manufacturers’ ability ‘to service customers in the aftermarket’ under changing conditions, notably longer length of vehicle ownership and what RSC asserts to be a predominantly ageing vehicle parc.
