‘Europe’s Lost Decade of Truck Fuel Economy’ – a briefing published recently by lobby group Transport & Environment – is, in many ways a remarkable document. Combining as it does misleading reasoning, factual inaccuracy, an apparent lack of understanding of the topic under discussion and likely opportunism in equal measure, it covers considerable ground in its six pages.
