Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) US recently spent US$2.5m on a new 4x4 dynamometer (dyno) as it strives to accurately represent real-world conditions in its drive cells. However, despite the new equipment, FCA’s drive cell specialist believes there will always be a need for real-world testing.
