Since the widespread adoption of connected car technology, OEMs and suppliers have worked hard to make sure their vehicles are protected from rogue wireless hacking. In the past, researchers have figured out how to hack into a car’s system while having a laptop plugged into the vehicle, but now, two researchers have made a device for under US$20 that can give hackers all the control they need to manipulate the vital systems of a vehicle.
