General Motors has been waging a trademark battle over its upcoming Chevrolet Bolt electric vehicle (EV). The future model is slated to join the Volt and Spark EV in Chevrolet's EV line-up in the near future, but objections from the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) meant it may do so under another name.
The problem was two-pronged, with concerns stemming from both motorcycle manufacturer Yamaha and Indiana-based company Gracie Industries.
