Big Three’s robust health makes for tougher UAW talks

Q2 saw strong results at GM, Ford and FCA, but what sort of impact will this have on labour negotiations with the UAW?

Just a few weeks after contract negotiations between the United Auto Workers (UAW) and the Big Three kicked off, each of the OEMs involved has reported strong results for its North American operations. While welcome news for all the companies, it may not place them in the strongest position during labour talks.
