Daimler AG subsidiary Mercedes-AMG GmbH and British luxury sports car manufacturer Aston Martin Lagonda have entered into a formal agreement whereby the latter will source engines from the German OEM. In return, Mercedes will get a stake of up to 5% in Aston Martin.
