Agreement on wages, bonuses averts strike at PSA’s Slovakian operations

PSA Peugeot Citroen, the newest OEM to locally assemble its vehicles in Slovakia, has managed to avert a strike over wages and bonuses

While Slovakia is one of the smaller Central European automotive markets, it remains the biggest car manufacturer per capita worldwide. The bulk of this production is exported. Last year, the country's automotive industry produced in excess of 970,000 cars, well over the original output forecast, which was expected to be more than 930,000 units.
