Africa’s new vehicle market set for growth as stability sets in

With an aggregate population in excess of 1 billion, GDP per capita of US$3,300 and light vehicle sales of 1.6 million units in 2013, the African continent has some similarities to China at the turn of the century. However, the similarities do not extend very far and certainly not to the pattern of growth forecast for the African vehicle market.
