Germany: VW Group deliveries up 11% in August

Volkswagen has reported group deliveries of 605,200 vehicles in August, an 11.0% increase from the 545,100 delivered in the same month of 2010. Year-to-date deliveries amounted to 5.36 million (excluding Scania sales), 14.0% ahead of the 4.70 million total recorded in the January-August 2010 period.
