Sweden: Volvo takes over ownership of Pininfarina JV

Volvo is taking over full ownership of the Pininfarina Sverige AB joint venture. Volvo Car Corporation and Pininfarina set up the Uddevalla, Sweden-based venture in 2003. Pininfarina held 60%, while Volvo held 40%. It launched operations in 2006. The partners have now agreed to terminate the venture.
