Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI), maker of the Subaru brand of cars, has stated that Chinese vehicle manufacturer Chery Automobile is one of the candidates being considered as a partner for a joint venture in China.
FHI spokesman Kenta Matsumoto has, however, clarified that Chery is one of several companies being considered,
