Waltham, Massachusetts-based lithium-ion battery manufacturer A123 Systems has announced that it has withdrawn from a programme to supply batteries to Chrysler for its electric vehicles.
Boston Business Journal, citing A123's chief executive officer David Vieau, said Chrysler had introduced a competing vendor, which, the supplier believes, will be willing to supply
