Volkswagen is reportedly set to acquire a controlling stake in industrial and automotive design and architecture firm Italdesign Giugiaro. According to Automotive News Europe, citing an unidentified industry source, an official announcement could be issued as soon as next week. So far, Italdesign and VW have declined to comment.
