Kia Motors has confirmed previous indications that it plans to invest €100m (US$137m) in a new engine plant at its assembly site at Zilina, Slovakia. The planned investment will increase Kia's annual production capacity in Slovakia by around 150,000 engines, taking total annual production to 450,000 units.
