The Renault-Nissan Alliance has inaugurated what it describes as its first dedicated Alliance global vehicle manufacturing plant, the production capacity of which will be up to 400,000 units per year.
The plant is located in Chennai, India and represents an investment of Rs45bn (US$990m). It will initially employ 1,500 workers at
