New car registrations in Italy last month posted a significant improvement over January 2009 figures, rising by 30.2% year-on-year to 206,341 vehicles, according to data released by the country's Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.
In the corresponding month a year ago, the Italian automotive industry had accounted for registrations of 158,457
