Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has appointed Torsten Mueller as its new chief executive officer, effective at the end of March 2010. Mueller will take over from Tom Purves, who will retire after 25 years with the BMW Group. Purves became in chief executive in July 2008, taking over from Ian Robertson,
