Daimler is engaged in various ways to support social and societal development worldwide. In 2019 alone, more than 2,000 projects were supported nationally and internationally. These include initiatives such as ProCent, Mobile Kids, Bon Pasteur, Genius and many more.
In recent years, the company’s social commitment has been bundled under “Daimler WeCare”. With its development into the initiative WE CARE WE DO WE MOVE, Daimler is aligning its corporate citizenship activities with its sustainable business strategy. Together with its employees, Daimler wants to create sustainable benefits for the common good in the communities surrounding its locations and around the world.

The new online format WE CARE WE DO WE MOVE TV informs about the group’s worldwide corporate citizenship commitment. Here, the global initiatives are presented and employees have the opportunity to share their engagement.
In the first episode, six-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton and Toto Wolff, Team Principal & CEO of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team, talk about the current events and developments, their own experiences, initiatives and plans, but also about diversity in motorsport.
