Most OEMs offer vehicle companion apps that enable cell phones to communicate with and enable a varying set of features in vehicles. While many apps have limited features and feel like an afterthought, companion apps represent a tremendous opportunity for OEMs to dramatically increase brand loyalty and improve customer satisfaction in the form of a comprehensive, feature-rich app.
