Europe’s charging infrastructure for electric vehicles (EVs) is set to expand significantly. BMW, Daimler, Ford and Volkswagen Group recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to build an initial 400 stations with power levels up to 350kW, enabling faster charging times than the most powerful charging system currently in use. The goal is to allow EV drivers to travel across long distances while simultaneously helping the widespread, mass-market adoption of EVs.
