China’s economy is still expanding, though at a slower rate, and the latest IMF forecasts are of a GDP growth of 6.8% this year. Recent devaluation of the Renminbi (Yuan) by the Chinese government will make exports more competitive, but at the same time it will also make imports more expensive.
